After the double million award Best ~First Things~ Kumi released 12 continual singles all on a higher rank on the hits one after the other. She is a very honest woman in her music and in her performances and has captured the hearts of many listeners with her music. When Kumi was young she auditioned for a part in the band "Morning Musume" but unfortunately was turned down.
A few years later she released her first single 'Take Back' in December 2000. However, this single did not make it onto the charts. Then came other singles such as "Trust your Love" and "So into you" though she did not reach success until her seventh single which were the themes for the hit game "Final Fantasy X-2" which appeared on her second album "Grow into One". After that Kumi released more hits such as "Crazy 4 U", "Butterfly" and "Come with me". On September 12th Kumi will release a new single titled "Ai no Uta" it will contain 2 new tracks. "Ai no Uta" & "Come Over". |
